The short version: you buy a gift code, we keep a simple record of it so it works, and we email it to the people you choose. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we are

SHORE AI Gifts is run by SHORE AI LLC, based in Malibu, California ("we", "us"). You can reach us at info@shore-ai.com.

What you give us, and what happens to it

• Your gift. The amount, your name, your email address, and, if you add them, the name and email address of the person it is for, the date to send it, and your message. We keep this record for as long as the gift has money on it, so the code keeps working. After a gift is fully spent we keep only the record of the sale and the spending, as long as the law requires us to keep financial records.
• Where it is used. When a code is used on another SHORE AI site, we record the amount, the site and an order number. We do not receive what you bought, your name, or your card details.
• Emails. We email the code to you, and to the person you choose on the day you choose. We use an email delivery service to send them. We send nothing else to the person you give a gift to, and we do not add anyone to a mailing list.
• Payment. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
• Technical data. Like any website, our hosting provider sees your IP address and basic request details. We use your IP address to limit abuse, such as too many code guesses in an hour.

Who else handles it

• Stripe processes payments.
• An email delivery service sends the gift emails.
• Our hosting provider runs the site and keeps the database.
• Google Fonts delivers the typefaces on the page, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it for advertising. We do not use advertising cookies.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics and Plausible to count visits and see which pages are used. They receive the page address without any query string, your browser and device type, and an approximate location. Plausible uses no cookies; Google Analytics may set cookies. Advertising features and ad personalization are turned off. Gift codes, names and email addresses are never sent to either tool.

Your choices

You can email us to ask what we hold about a gift, or to have it deleted once it has been fully spent, and we will respond promptly. If you live in California or another state with privacy rights, you may have additional rights, and we will honor valid requests.

Security

We use encrypted connections and keep access to the site and its data limited. A gift code is as private as the link or email it came in, so please keep it to yourself. No system is perfectly secure, so we also keep what we hold to a minimum.

Children

SHORE AI Gifts is for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this page, we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use what you give us, we will say so on the site.
